India's

Korean

Learners

We make learning Korean easy for Indian learners.

Our mission.

We strive to make learning Korean more accessible and effective for Indian learners. We do this by providing the highest-quality educational content along with supplementary resources that are specifically designed to fit the needs of Indian learners.

Our principles.

We believe language is a tool for communication. There's little value in memorizing grammar rules and technicalities if you can't actually speak the language. This belief is the cornerstone of our curriculum and is reflected in our course design, built to help you speak Korean as quickly as possible.

We also believe learning a new language is a journey. And every journey becomes more worthwhile and productive with good company. That’s why our effort doesn’t stop at creating courses — we’re building a community of learners who can support and motivate each other along the way.

Annyeonghaseyo! Namaste everyone!

I first moved to India to study when I was eleven, and at that time, I had no idea that India would become my second home. In fact, I feel more Indian than Korean now (khoon se Korean, dil se Indian).

One of the best decisions I made growing up in India was choosing Hindi as my second language in school. I went to an international school, so there was really no need for me to learn Hindi but having grown up in India and already feeling a part Indian, I wanted to learn Hindi to build a deeper connection with the country I love.

For a long time, I didn’t see much progress with my Hindi, and it was quite frustrating. It finally began to improve when I started creating content on Instagram in Hindi because I was constantly exposed to the language and forced to speak the Hindi people actually use in everyday life.

That’s when I understood the real secret to learning a new language:
focus on practical, everyday phrases instead of getting stuck in endless grammar rules, which are important, but can slow your progress if they become your main focus.

Learning from that experience, we designed our courses around real, practical Korean — the way native Koreans actually speak — so you can start speaking Korean as soon as possible! Because I can relate, there’s nothing more frustrating than feeling connected to a culture but not being able to speak its language.

Chalo! Should we get you speaking Korean now?

Namaste and Annyeonghaseyo everyone!

I first came to India in 2002 when I was just four years old, not knowing what to expect or how deeply this country would shape my life. I grew up in Hyderabad, surrounded by multiple languages. Korean at home, English at school, and Hindi and Telugu with friends and everyday life. In many ways, I grew up more Indian than Korean.

Growing up with so many languages around me was beautiful, but it was also challenging. I did take a few Hindi classes here and there, but honestly, they never really helped me in real life. The same with Telugu. I never took a single class. What truly helped me was living the language daily by spending time with friends, listening closely, observing how people actually speak, making mistakes, and slowly learning through real conversations.

For a long time, I believed I had to master difficult grammar and be perfect before I could truly speak. That mindset only made things slower and more stressful. But real life taught me something very different. Language becomes natural when you actually start using it. That is when I understood this clearly. Learning a language is not about memorizing complicated rules. It is about practicality, simplicity, and real-life usage.

Today, I can freely speak both Hindi and Telugu without ever mastering complicated grammar first, and it truly works. That exact experience is the reason this course is designed the way it is. It is built to help you start using the language in real life as soon as possible, without fear, pressure, or overthinking.

So let us not wait to be perfect! Let us start learning, start using, and start enjoying the language right now!

안녕하세요? Namaste Everyone!

My journey with Korean began in 2006 at Jawaharlal Nehru University, inspired by the story of King Kim Suro and Queen Heo. Since then, I’ve completed my Master’s in Korean Linguistics from Ewha Womans University, Seoul and am currently finishing my Ph.D. at JNU.

I’ve taught Korean at the Korean Cultural Centre in New Delhi and EFL University, Hyderabad, sharing my passion for language and culture with students across India.

Having studied and taught Korean for many years, I’ve realized that Korean and Hindi grammar are surprisingly similar which makes learning Korean through Hindi so much easier.

I hope to make your learning experience simple, practical, and enjoyable!
